Miley Cyrus Demands Respect, Privacy

Note to Miley Cyrus: if you want people to respect your privacy, try keeping things private.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the singer - who posts every waking thought on Twitter and takes fans inside her closet for obnoxious YouTube videos - whined about the way she's treated.

"I think it is all about respect. People forget that when you are in the public eye; people forget you still have to respect people and you still have to (respect) their privacy," Cyrus said, citing zero examples of how she's been disrespected.

Cyrus had another message for critics: leave my parents alone!

"Trust the fact that my parents are raising me just like everyone else is raising their kids," she said. "They are doing it the way they want to. It is not for the media or for any one else to judge how they should or should not raise me."

Soulja Boy: Engaged to Rosa Acosta?

Britney Spears is being asked to “foot” the medical bills of a photographer who got injured in an accident involving the pop diva.

Photographer Ricardo Mendoza claims that his foot has been damaged for life after Britney ran over it. The incident happened in 2007, while Britney was leaving a Los Angeles medical centre. Mendoza is now asking Britney to hand over 220,000 dollars, reports Contacmusic. The former TMZ.com photographer claims that his damaged foot has cost him 195,000 dollars in general damages. He initially laughed the foot injury off, auctioning off his sock for charity.

Somebody new is drooling over Mary-Louise Parker nude.

Director of "The Pianist", Roman Polaski arrested

Director Roman Polanski has been taken into custody by Swiss police on a 31-year-old U.S. arrest warrant, organizers of the Zurich Film Festival said Sunday. The organizers said in a statement that Polanski was detained by police Saturday in relation to a 1978 U.S. request, without giving details.

Zurich police spokesman Stefan Oberlin confirmed Polanski's arrest, but refused to provide more details because he said it was a matter for the Swiss Justice Ministry.

Ministry spokesman Guido Balmer declined to comment.

Polanski fled the United States in 1978, a year after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.

The 76-year-old director of such classic films as "Chinatown" and "Rosemary's Baby" recently sought dismissal of his case on grounds of misconduct by the now-deceased judge who had arranged a plea bargain and then reneged on it.
