The much awaited sequel to 'Arya' (2004), which made Allu Arjun a big star in Tollywood, has gone on floors in Goa. The film, directed by Sugumar again has Kajal Aggarwal playing the heroine opposite Arjun.Navadeep and Shraddha Das play important roles in the film.Currently, a song is being shot in Goa under the supervision of choreographer Nixon. The producers plan to release the film in September last, during Dussehra holidays. Devisri Prasad scores the tunes for the film.S Narayan produces the film; he himself writes the lyrics. Songs composed by Micky J Meyer, who had scored the music for the original film, has been retained in the sequel. Jagadish Vaali is the cinematographer.
