Lady GaGa, whose original moniker is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - says that she chose the stage name Lady GaGa while doing theatre. The idea came from the Queen song 'Radio Ga Ga. Lady GaGga did a lot of very theatrical performances on he Lower East Side in New York, reminding her manager of Freddie Mercury - he told her that she was so 'GaGa'.
The pop star says that she has had the stage name Lady Gaga for five years now. “Everybody calls me GaGa. Even my own mum calls me GaGa sometimes. I didn't sit down with my record label and say, 'I don't like my name, let's change it'. GaGa is who I've been for five years now.”
It would appear that the globally renowned Roísin Murphy has gone absolutely totally gaga over a corporate guy who likes to call himself as Speedy.
The winsome dashing couple had a chance meeting when the Lady Gaga was shooting for her new video for her soon to be released track “Love Game.”
